Pak One Health Alliance organized a consultative meeting of the stakeholders on “One Health Surveillance – Dashboard / Business Model & OH Curricula” on 26th February 2022 at Islamabad Club. This meeting was attended by the representatives of all One Health sectors from federal and Punjab e.g. Ministry of National Health Services Regulations and Coordination, Ministry of National Food Security & Research, Ministry of Climate Change, Animal Husbandry Commission, National Institute of Health – Islamabad, Department of Health Punjab, Livestock & Dairy Development Department – Punjab, University of Health Sciences – Lahore, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences – Narowal Campus, University of Agriculture – Faisalabad, WHO – Islamabad and Awami System Technologies – Islamabad. The core objective of this meeting was to get an insight of important MISs and practices currently in place with One Health – Surveillance Dashboard perspective and discussions on the design, framework and structure of it.
While welcoming the participants Dr. S.M. Mursalin, President/CEO – POHA briefed about the background and expected outcomes of OH – EBS system and its Dashboard to be developed and piloted at DOH-Punjab under the technical support of Ending Pandemics – USA. He invited the valued comments from participants for thorough deliberation and suggestions to improve the dashboard and the implementation plan.
