Pak One Health Alliance (POHA) in collaboration with Provincial Health Department of Punjab and other On e Health national and international partners is going to execute a pilot project titled “Deploying One Health – Event Based Surveillance System”. The intended project will address the need of evidence-based multi-pronged data from multiple disciplines and approaches. The EBS system will integrates different components of the surveillance system and would optimize the data capturing process, attain uniform standards of health data structures, include elements of participatory, community-based, and event-based surveillance reporting. It will improve event and outbreak investigation, response & control, management and their protocols and include disease and outbreak control measures.
