The improper disposal of animals that died of Lumpy skin disease causes fear among the people of Hazro and surrounding regions, as a huge number of dead cattle were thrown in open locations by cattle breeders and live stock brokers. The Lumpy Skin Disease (LSD), which had previously spread in various parts of the district Attock, has affected a large number of cattle in the Hazro area, with scores of livestock, particularly cows and buffalo, suffering from it in various villages, causing panic and fear among the people living in the area, in addition to farmers, cattle breeders, and cattle dealers whose cattle are dying. Locals have expressed their alarm over the horrible odour emitted by the dead animals. They were concerned that it might spread various illnesses over the area.
