Dr. Jasim Anwar holds Ph.D. from University of South Wales. He possesses 15-Years of work experience in the health sector. During the period he also taught at Women Medical College, Abbottabad as Assistant Professor, worked as visiting Researcher for Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Atlanta – USA and Chief Investigator at University of New South Wales, Sydney – Australia for secondary analysis of PDH Survey, Reproductive Health, Population Displacement and Mental Health. He is a senior level consultant and advisor on policy formulation, strategic planning, SDGs. Skill-set for Social Protection, Civil Registration & Vital Statistics, Socio-economic Assessments, System Strengthening, Information Systems and Project Management. As consultant Dr. Jasim served for WHO, Government of AJ&K, Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for their different health development projects in Pakistan. Since the establishment of POHA, Dr. Jasim is a part and partial of its Global Health Initiatives.
