Dr. Zafar Iqbal Toor holds a bachelor degree in medicine (MBBS), Master Degree in Primary Healthcare (MPHC) Management from Mahidol University-Thailand and WHO fellowship on Applied Epidemiology & Surveillance of HIV/AIDS from CDC Atlanta, USA. He is a public health professional and provides strategic leadership and guidance on Infectious Diseases including drug susceptible and drug resistance tuberculosis. He has 20 year experience in program management, system strengthening, services delivery, capacity building, information management, private sector engagement, research, monitoring and evaluation. He is also member of various professional bodies; conducted various researches and authored publications for national and international levels. Dr. Toor has worked for National Programs of Tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS under M/o National Health Services. He also worked for Disease Surveillance, Epidemic Investigation Cell, Disaster Management and Clinical services programs of various public and development sector organizations. He is associated with POHA as Public Health Consultant.
