Leadership and governance are progressively being recognized as a critical factor in the
performance of health system. For the pandemic situations the National Institute of Health issued guidelines for the preparedness for the precautionary measured to all the provinces and federating units and federal areas i.e AJK and GB. The findings from the assessment revealed that the overall situation of the health system / institution readiness for response to COVID-19 bot has strengthening and weakness with need to be addressed but still there are some gaps which can further strengthen the response and will further prepare these hospitals for much better response to any health emergency future.
