Deployment of One Health – Event-Based Surveillance System in Punjab is aimed at integrating different components of the surveillance system in the province. It would optimize the data capturing process and attain uniform standards of health data structures including elements of participatory, community-based, and Event-Based Surveillance reporting. It will help to further improve the event and outbreak investigation, response and control management. The ultimate goal of this project is to develop a joint One Health Platform to enable early detection and coordinated response to disease outbreaks.
