Pak One Health Alliance

I am very much delighted to write this message for Annual Report – 2020 of Pak One Health Alliance. It’s an immense pleasure for me that POHA has completed another successful year of operation. On the eve of this superb achievement I would like to congratulate the entire POHA team, it’s Executive Body and the valued Experts and  Professionals who remained associated and supported throughout the year to accomplish the assigned tasks on time. I offer my gratitude and appreciation to all our national and international partners and donors like; Ministry of National Health Services, Regulation & Coordination, Islamabad; Ministry of
Climate Change, Islamabad; Economic Affairs Division, Islamabad; Central Health
Establishment, Islamabad; National Institute of Health, Islamabad; Policy & Strategic Planning Unit of Department of Health, Punjab; University of Health Sciences, Lahore; United Nations Development Program (UNDP); World Health Organization; Ending Pandemics, USA; Fleming Fund-UK; Sandia and Tide Centre-USA; and Ipas Pakistan; whoentrusted POHA as their credible partner in Pakistan.
During the year it was most precious time when POHA entered into collaboration with Ending Pandemics – USA and Fleming Fund – UK to carry out “AMR Data Surveillance and Gap Analysis Study and Developing Common Protocols” in Pakistan using One Health Concept.
Furthermore, achieving collaboration with Punjab Strategic Planning & Policy Unit (PSPU) – Department of Health Punjab for promoting ‘One Health Approach’ in the province by adopting Punjab Health Sector Strategy – 2019 for controlling Emerging Infectious
Diseases in the province. Keeping in mind the exhibited professionalism and the commendable
experience, we at POHA are committed to continue our dedications for the development and improvement of our public health sector and national health status. Reiterating our resolve, once again, I would like to invite the national and provincial governments, valued partners and the community based organizations to join us and “Unite for  Cause” in the years to come.
